Required for marking the insertion depth of the pipe into the fitting in order to guarantee a safe and proper connection. 

For marking insertion depths for sizes 15-108mm of KE KELIT COPPERFIX and STEELFIX pipes. 

Also used for marking insertion depths when using VSH XPress Copper GAS fittings. 

Provides visual confirmation that nothing has slid out of place before the fitting is pressed onto the pipe.
